Thermo-ER Shrink Fit Collets are solid, unslotted collets that use Diebold’s thermo-shrink technology to clamp cutting tools with extremely high gripping force and exceptional accuracy. By eliminating slots, they prevent coolant, chips, and dirt from affecting clamping performance, resulting in better TIR runout, higher torque transmission, and significantly longer tool life compared to standard slotted ER collets.
