The Diebold 3D Edge Finder Eco (3Deco) is a precise and versatile tool for locating workpiece reference points on all three axes in milling and EDM machines. Its durable, compression-type design protects the dial gauge and feeler, allows adjustable spindle run-out, and enables accurate edge detection on the first attempt without calculations, improving speed, accuracy, and operator productivity.
Advantages
• The 3Deco is clamped in a tool holder and positioned close to the workpiece and sought axis. The probe tip is adjusted and touches the workpiece
• When the dial gage shows zero, the spindle axis is exactly on the workpiece edge.
